When I returned back after a very short walk around my apartment, I called up my parents and conveyed that it is down pouring at Chennai and I am safe at home and would call next day morning. Since I conveyed my message to parents, that I am safe in the home and no plans of stepping out anytime soon, they were pretty much relieved. I crashed to the bed at around 8 PM, this was the first time in my life to crash so early in the bed and just lost in some random thoughts. Of all these random things against me during the Chennai Rains, there was one good thing which I made earlier, I had around 18 Tintin adventure eBook downloaded in my iPod Touch and I has been my companion for 2 long days. I slept too soon, after I crashed to the bed early in the night and had good sleep for around 4 to 5 hours before I woke up to the monstrous thunder and lightning. At around 2 AM there was continuous thunders with multiple lightning, I woke up to these sounds only to sense the impact of the rains.
